What is Children's Ministry?

Our Children’s Ministry is devoted to nurturing young hearts and guiding them on a transformative journey to become more like Jesus. Through intentional steps of faith and discovery, we invite children to connect deeply with Jesus and His story, allowing His grace and glory to be revealed in their lives. Our greatest desire is for each child to develop an unwavering commitment to Christ, surrendering fully to Him as they are filled with the Holy Spirit and inspired by God’s truth. This journey begins as children behold the wonder, beauty, and majesty of Jesus, embracing Him with sincere hearts and growing in their love for Him. It flourishes as they learn to walk in His ways, worship with joy, and live faithfully for His glory (Philippians 2:10-11, Psalm 128:1). Through every lesson, experience, and moment of worship, we strive to help children build a lasting foundation of faith that will shape their lives for years to come.

Our Children's Ministry Leader

Our Children's Ministry Leader is Jan Lockman. Jan is from Gulf Breeze, Florida and has been with GracePointe Church since it was founded in 2016. Jan is a teacher of the Visually Impaired in Santa Rosa District Schools.

Future Plans for Children's Ministry

Our goal for the future of our Children’s Ministry is to continue growing in both size and impact, so that we can welcome more children into a vibrant, Christ-centered community. We desire for every child to encounter the life and light of Jesus, to know Him as their Savior and King, and to grow as faithful citizens of His Kingdom.

We are committed to being positive, Christ-like role models, guiding children with love, grace, and consistency. Through meaningful instruction in God’s Word, we seek to nurture their spiritual development in a way that is engaging, age-appropriate, and rooted in truth.

Above all, we strive to provide a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment where every child feels seen, valued, and deeply loved—just as they are. It is our joy and calling to partner with families in laying a strong foundation of faith for the next generation.
